Spontaneous Get-togethers

Girls date! College stole her, and has returned her for a short time, so we seized the moment. Neither had much of an agenda, accept Christmas is creeping upon us, and it was time to fully catch up.  Conversations blossomed as we aimlessly wandered from store to store. Occasionally, we realized that we were in stores, and two birds potentially could be hit with one stone. So, we would focus for a few minutes at a time, while dancing around with other distractions the rest of the time. Within several hours, we had caught up quite a bit, and had finished the all of the Christmas shopping that we could accomplish for the day. Last week, we were six and playing on the swing set. Today, we are deciding lifetime careers, our priorities, keeping friendships up, and bustling through life at quite a charge.  How times have changed, yet have stayed the same in some areas. Spontaneous get-togethers contain no specific location. They contain specific people.  I have come to the conclusion that spontaneous get-togethers are some of my favorites. Just so you know, you made my day. =)
