Bucket List

I lay in bed reflecting this morning as the crisp, fresh air gripped me, through my cracked window. I'm a senior. It was just yesterday that I started school for the first time. And just yesterday that I came out to visit UCA to see what my first dorm room would entail. Now I lay in bed almost half way through my second and last year. This past weekend dashed by, brushed with the irregular, but appreciated, presence of seniors from last year. I almost forgot how much they were missed, especially until they returned back home. I relished being able to catch up with some of them, but wished I could have caught up with all. There remains so much to catch up on. As they all departed Saturday night, I sat there desiring to hop in the car and go with them, but understanding that my time will come too soon. Growing up and moving on remains off of my bucket list, but something that stands strong on there is to keep in better touch with friends.
